Our Program
Kids In Motion Summer Camp provides unforgettable summer camp experiences through child development, arts and crafts, STEAM activities, and movement. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where campers can make friends, learn new skills, and have fun.
Our 9 week summer program is designed to foster personal growth and development and provide a fun-filled summer experience. Daily lessons and activities are created by certified educators in the district and include age appropriate activities that promote self awareness and positive youth interactions.
Camp Life
Campers express their creativity through various forms of arts and crafts activities, and strengthen their knowledge of the world around them by exploring STEAM activities.
Our youth are exposed to real-world experiences when they participate in multi-sensory field opportunities. These experiences help campers to gain confidence and grow in ways that will benefit them long after summer camp is over.

Our Activities
Our 9 week summer camp provides daily lessons created by certified educators. We offer a wide range of activities at Kids In Motion Summer Camp that focus on child development, arts and crafts, STEAM, and movement. Our trained counselors lead engaging and age-appropriate activities that help campers develop new skills and interests.
Our Founder
A native of Miami, Florida, Kimberly Jordan moved to the DMV area, in 2014, to teach in the District of Columbia. With nearly 20 years of experience as an Elementary Educator, Kimberly has taught all core subjects to K, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th graders. She is currently a Visual Arts Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools, where she teaches Art to students grades PreK - 5th.
Kimberly founded Kids In Motion Summer Camp, LLC to provide a fun space for boys and girls to enjoy a summer filled with fun activities and experiences that aim to strengthen character, boost confidence, and help children discover new things about themselves.
